Papers of Albert Austin Pearre [manuscript],1915-1925.

The papers consist of correspondence of Albert Pearre with his parents Nanny Estelle and Albert Lindsay Pearre, while a student at the University of Virginia and a medical doctor at the Church Home and Infirmary, the Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Included with the letters are documents from the University of Virginia such as grade reports, compositions, and other academic and social ephemera. Also included is a volume containing transcripts of the letters entitled, "A doctor in the making, Austin Pearre's letters to and from home, 1915-1925," by his daughter Nancy Pearre Lesure.
